Where did you grow up and where is your current home in the world right now?

I was born and raised in Sri Lanka, and have always lived by the Ocean. Even though things were a bit serious growing up, with a civil war that went on the whole time, I honestly can't remember ever feeling stressed through my childhood. I thank the beautiful beaches surrounding my Island Home for this. I moved to Australia to complete my University degree and have fallen in love with this place. I love where I am right now, in Avoca Beach, and hope to call it home for the foreseeable future.

So, what does a day in the life look like? Tell us everything from wake up to sundown...

I rise before the sun, and love starting my day peacefully with my morning breath-work, yoga and lemon water. Once my ritual is done, if I'm not teaching a yoga class, you'll find me dragging the man outta bed, bouncing off the ceilings (massive morning person, no caffeine needed haha), and strolling / driving down to our beach to check the surf, run and get some sun. I've designed my work around my non negotiable need to be in and around the sea and underneath the sun every day, so any work I do for my business The Enchanted Life or Surf Salutations Wellness Retreats likely happens in a bikini on my deck if I can help it :P

I love cooking nice, wholesome meals so that's another important part of my day I give heaps of time to. Other than that, I love catching a sunset if I can and winding down early with a book or movie to maximise the morning froth all over again!

What’s one thing you do for self-love and self-care?

Nothing makes me shine brighter than the sun on my skin and getting amongst the sea every day. If the surf isn't happening, then I love running barefoot along the beach, and ending it with a dip. It is honestly the medicine that keeps me sane.

Favourite quote or mantra?

Anything you can imagine is real ☆ - I'm a massive dreamer, and believe anyone can do anything they set their minds and hearts to. Dreaming is the first step of manifesting. This quote reminds me to keep dreaming and weaving these dreams into life.

Who and what inspires you?

Mama nature is my place of infinite inspiration. Catch a sunrise and sunset every day and tell me magic isn't real :P I can never stop being amazed at the simple yet stunning things nature has to offer, and this is where I find my inspiration.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

One thing you’ve always wanted to do...
Can you believe that this Island girl has never surfed in a bikini? I legit dream of surfing beautiful mellow waves in warm water (mmm maybe back home in Sri Lanka) in my Rusty bikinis all the time, so for now, that's my number one must do.

What would you say your everyday go to style is?

I'm a low fuss kinda girl, so I'm usually in something easy and breezy. I do however have a questionable number of bikinis and summer dresses which appear to be growing since I've come onboard with Rusty :) #notsorrry

What are you vibing from your Rusty pieces?

I love the cool comfort, elegant lines and perfect palettes across the Women's range. I love the one piece and bikinis the most, however can't wait to get in some of the flowy dresses in time for Spring, which are being shipped to me as I write this!
