We wanted to design the best-performing wetsuit that's also the best-performing for the environment. At Rusty we were sick of seeing the big players in wetsuit production continually using harmful petrol chemical-based neoprene in their ranges just to cut costs. We developed our ECOPRENE foam, made from 100% limestone-based foam providing the lightest, comfiest and strongest foam on the market. We didn't stop there with our search for the eco-friendly / performance wetsuit. The entire suit is constructed from eco-friendly yarns and jersey as well as water-based glues and laminates.

The lightest weight, warmest & stretchiest limestone-based foam available. Ecoprene contains ZERO petrol chemicals unlike most of the markets neoprene-based suits, the foam is 100% synthesised from the highest quality limestone providing the lightest, comfiest and strongest foam on the market.

Full body recycled thermal lining traps in body heat and dries fast. Ecofuzz is a market leading fabric that we developed with our designers that will keep you warmer for longer.

Anatomically engineered panels with minimal seams for unrestricted performance and warmth, the lightest, comfiest and strongest on the market. Each panel features triple glued, double blind stitched seams. Our ECOPRENE internal taping also maximises seam seals while having unrestricted stretch and comfort. The suit also features silicon seals on the cuffs of the arms and legs to prevent flushing.

Our chest-zip is designed for the performance surfer in mind. Easy entry, Rusty's quick zip closure and minimal bulk for a perfect fit. Our suit also comes with a market leading YKK zip that provides self-locking once closed as well as a secure lock tab. Lock in and forget.

On the outside, we added abrasion resistant kneepads for flexibility and stretch as well as embossed reverse knee details which adds to knee flexibility and better range of motion.
